Ehhhh Finalmente descubrí cual era el problema, Y era por causa del driver del chipset. Asique para los que tengan el mismo problema que yo, revisen primeramente el driver de la placa, y luego instalen todos los demás controladores o drivers... ^^! Tal vez debía haber partido por ahi xD Bueno, gracias por la ayuda :)

Definitivamente me doy cuenta que el driver que intento instalar es el correcto, y más encima me lo confirma Kraker en el post de arriba. El problema esq me manda el error mencionado anteriormente, supongo q la clave es entender lo q dice en el archivo .log Bueno, Gracias por la ayuda q me han brindado hasta el momento :)

HOla, Estaba intentando instalar los drivers de mi placa integrada, y tube un problema con el driver de video. No se porqué no lo puedo instalar, tal vez tenga el driver erroneo, pero lo dudo. Ya que no tengo el cd de la placa amdre, el driver lo descargé de la página http://www.driverstock.com/ASUS-P5V800-MX-...0179/index.html. el cual al ejecutarlo, me manda un error diciendome : "El programa de instalación no pudo completar la instalación. Para obtener más detalles consulte el archivo de progreso en el directorio C:\windows\s3iscfg.log" Porfavor, si alguien me puede ayudar u orientar para poder solucionar mi problema, se lo agradecería. Dejo algunos datos de mi tarro. Procesador: pentium IV 2.66 L2 Cache: 1024 MB Memory: 960 MB Mainbord: Asustek COmputer INc p5v800-mx Windows XP con Service Pack 2 Espero que eso sirva.
