Agness 3 sections • 17 lectures • 57m total length Video: MP4 1280x720 44 KHz | English + Sub Updated 8/2022 | Size: 658 MB Spy Skills for Safety, Security, and Self-Defense What you'll learn Espionage techniques to proactively address threats. Counter Intelligence techniques to better protect yourself and others Situational Awareness skills Students will be able to practice tradecraft techniques to enhance their security skill and better protect themselves Requirements There are no prerequisites for this course Description Learn Spycraft Skills and earn a custom certificate upon completion. Too often our approach to security, whether it's security for our home, our workplace, our families or our own self-defense is merely reactive. These responses are insufficient. Action is always quicker than reaction and these methods of traditional security consistently give the violent criminal the upper hand. Even the skilled self-defense or security practitioner is left at the mercy of an attacker. The average citizen is just waiting around ready to be victimized. The criminal has all of the control. However, there is an answer. There is a way to take control, to be empowered to stop violence and crime before it ever starts. The world of espionage offers us several techniques to be proactive and take control over our security and the protection of those we love. This covert world is more dangerous than the world most of us live in. It's a world where overlooked vulnerabilities can have deadly consequences. Learn the espionage and counter-espionage skills that intelligence operatives use to survive in some of the most dangerous environments on earth. Learn to be more aware, detect and evade surveillance, protect yourself and your information, gather intelligence, detect and deter threats, and covertly gain access to hostile environments. We will start by spending 30 minutes to customize our workflow in Zbrush so we could work much faster and efficient. Then we will make the head of our warrior where i will explain what you should watch for in a head modelling. Then we will make a placeholder hair, beard and eyes from scratch. After that we will make the body, again from sphere, following our concept. After we are done with the body, we will start making 3D sketch of our model, to get the correct placement of all our accessories, clothes and armors. This is a pretty important stage, in the end of which we will have very good idea how our model will look when it's finished. Then it will be time to start extracting clothes, belts and other pieces of clothing. We will also make a brush which will make the placement of all those small metal parts like belt buckles and caps, very easy and fast. After that we will start refining all those things that we have made, and the model will start to look pretty good. Then it will be time to do the all the weapons of our character, which include the saber, Axe, mace, dagger and a spear, separately, and add them to the scene. Once we are happy with the overall look of our character i will show you how to make good pose with the transpose master in Zbrush. Then it will be time to take care for the beard and hair, all done in Zbrush's Fibermesh. Finally we will make the render passes in Zbrush and combine them in Photoshop, to achieve the best possible look for our model. 1. Introduction 2. Creating the anatomy 3. 3d Sketch 4. If leadership fails to respond, we may experience secondary trauma, or what some experts call institutional betrayal. Leading dynamic organizations is already difficult. It's even harder to be productive and advance organizational change when navigating through the effects of the personal and collective trauma we may also be bringing into the workplace. Do leaders, supervisors, or members of your team know the differences between burnout, stress, depression, and trauma? Is your organization's change management approach increasing change resistance or causing harm? In this course, Dr. Dawn Emerick teaches leaders how to integrate change management strategies with trauma-informed workplace best practices. This type of change management leverages a "do no harm" approach to leadership style, systems change, and the organization's external environments. Troubleshooting's & Backup Plan in Production What is Citrix and How It Works ? Citrix Systems is a company headquartered in the US, Florida. Citrix provide technical products for virtualization with it's virtual apps (formerly XenApp) and virtual desktops (formerly XenDesktop) being two of it's most popular products. An Introduction to Citrix Workspace App By now, you've probably heard something about Citrix Workspace and Citrix Workspace App. If you have - great, let me fill in some details, and if you haven't then here's what you need to know. Citrix, and speaking more broadly, technology vendors have historically been very good at providing point solutions that solve problems. Where they have fallen down in the past is being able to deliver integrated solutions. Citrix Workspace is about being able to deliver a comprehensive workspace solution to end-users in one place. This might seem obvious, but even today if I am utilising all Citrix services I need to go to various places for different things. I might use a local Citrix Receiver for accessing my applications in the office, but I go home and access applications and desktops via NetScaler and StoreFront - getting a similar, but slightly different, user experience. I want to access some secure content on the go - I use Secure Hub on my mobile device to access my XenMobile apps. If I want to access corporate data I might use the ShareFile Sync client on a desktop PC, or I might use the Drive Mapper client in a XenApp or Virtual Desktop session, or even the Web Interface. Lots of functionality, but lots of touch points and differing user experiences. What is Citrix Workspace Used For? Citrix Workspace (formerly Citrix Workspace Suite) is a digital workspace software platform developed by Citrix Systems that allows multiple users to remotely access and operate Microsoft Windows desktops running in a datacenter or a public or private cloud, via devices located elsewhere. Students will be able to recognize significant Baroque churches in Rome, Spain, and the New World. Students will gain an appreciation of the themes that defined Baroque architecture from its predecessors. A comprehensive vocabulary list is found at the end of the course. Requirements An interest in history and a love of art are the only prerequisites for this course. Description This course looks at Baroque Architecture in many of its forms: as a showcase for Counter-Reformation churches in Rome and at the Vatican, as it was received in Northern Europe in France and England, and how the Spanish Baroque made the journey across the Atlantic and determined the built forms of colonial power for much of the Americas. The Baroque style which had been unleashed by the Catholic Church in order to impress the Catholic populations on the European continent in the wake of the Council of Trent served double-duty in the lands which were colonized by Catholic powers, like Spain, France, or Portugal. Spanish architecture had by the Late Renaissance begun to assume its own idiosyncratic forms; by inserting and adapting iconic, religious forms into the outward feature of a building of Spain's imperial and earthly power, we observe the marriage of Catholicism with the Spanish crown that otherwise defined their aggressive, expansionist rules both in Europe and the New World. The second part of the course takes an in-depth look at the development of curved surfaces in architecture and the influential contribution of two Roman architects, Gianlorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini, which revolutionized the very concept of what buildings could look like well through the modern era. What we call the Baroque is the style which was selected for the lavish new constructions and art commissions which were part of the Catholic Counter-Reformation, the reaction against Protestantism and the opportunity it provided to re-clarify the core tenets of the Catholic faith. The Council of Trent was the event which hammered out the Church of Rome's future goals and the agenda by which they could be realized; instructing and impressing the masses through religious art and architecture were the motives underlying the intensive building and embellishment campaigns which spread the Baroque style throughout Catholic Europe. Students will be able to recognize major Dutch paintings and genres. Students will gain an appreciation of the themes that defined Dutch artists and works from their predecessors. A comprehensive vocabulary list is found at the end of the course. Requirements An interest in history and a love of art are the only prerequisites for this course. Description When the Thirty Years' War came to a close and the Treaty of Westphalia established both the principle of religious toleration and the establishment of the new Dutch Republic, painting in Northern Europe was revitalized with a new sense of purpose and possibility. Northern conventions in painting with their roots in the Flemish Renaissance- the landscape, the still-life, and the portrait- all underwent significant transformations which reflected the new climate of economic prosperity and the burgeoning national pride in the land's productivity and the Protestant peoples' industry. Artists like Hals, Vermeer, and Rembrandt brought sweeping changes to their works which forever changed the possibilities of what art could be and the forms which it could take, laying the foundations in many senses for how art is encountered in modern settings. Most of these we might take for granted; for example, next time you pose for a group photo, you have the early Dutch group portrait painters to thank for the development of this convention in imaging. The developments which we see in Dutch painting of the seventeenth century document some of the major currents of change which have shaped what we perceive to be the modern West today. The religious freedom which freed the Protestants from state-sponsored persecution at the conclusion of the Thirty Years War allowed a distinct religious climate and a new kind of artwork to flourish and to receive the lavish patronage which the Dutch Golden Age's emerging global economy permitted. The image we have of the English King Charles I from Van Dyck is one of our last for the absolutist style of ruler in England; by and large, the bodies of parliament which establish the laws in modern Western countries are also emerging phenomena of this era. The desire for artwork in the homes of the growing middle class at the time anticipates the conventions for home decoration which we perhaps take for granted today; from seventeenth century Holland do we begin to see the consumption of artwork on such an equalized scale- from group portraits to scenes from every-day life with a coded moral- that we no longer can trace the phenomena of art history primarily through the lens of royal and elite patronage, as we have done so far in the art histories of Italy, France, England, and the other monarchies of Europe. With the establishment of the Dutch Republic so too did patterns of mass consumption become established which anticipated the common experience and interaction with images in the home and in the public sphere through the present day. Royalty And Revolution In French Painting Last updated 2/2019 MP4 | Video: h264, 1280x720 | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz Language: English | Size: 1.04 GB | Duration: 0h 47m Baroque, Academic Classicism, Rococo, Naturalism, and the Neoclassical Styles in the 18th Century What you'll learn Students will learn the key developments, vocabulary terms, and works of art which are associated with French painting in the eighteenth century. Students will be able to recognize key works and features of royal and revolutionary French painting. Students will appreciate stylistic as well as thematic developments in French painting. A comprehensive vocabulary slide is included at the end of the course. Requirements An interest in history and a love of art are the only prerequisites for this course. Description This course draws a wide arc of history through the eighteenth century in France, spanning from the Baroque splendor of the monarchy through the aristocracy's embrace of the Rococo style during the Regency period. However, the major historical events of that century hinge on the changing place of the Third Estate, the large population in France that belonged to neither royalty, aristocracy, nor clergy; the uprising of French peasants at the close of the eighteenth century and the deposition of the absolutist Bourbon monarchy transformed the political history of Western Europe and beyond. Images of this Third Estate also reflect shifting attitudes; from the patronizing, "natural dignity" imbued into images of silent, anonymous peasantry for French elites with a taste for northern genre scenes to the appropriation of a Neoclassical vocabulary by the bourgeoisie to express their ideals of heroism and resistance, we see in this course how French painting in the eighteenth century mirrored the significant social and political developments of the same century. From the late seventeenth through the turn of the nineteenth century in France, we see a varied arc of styles reflect the turbulent political and social history of the era. We start our course firmly in the French Baroque splendor of Louis XIV, but after his death during the Regency, we see elite taste let its hair down in the sensual frolics of the Rococo. What style could be more emblematic for the frivolous, self-gratifying pursuits of the aristocracy in Florence than the canvases by Watteau, Boucher, and Fragonard that we have just looked at? In that context, the appearance of "Natural" art, sourced in the late seventeenth century's interpretation of Dutch genre scenes but with a patronizing air absent in its Northern models, becomes for the history of painting a symptom of the popular backlash which would explode at the close of the eighteenth century. During that defining moment for the course of Western civilization's political history, we witness in art the highest art of the unpopular ruling class transition into the Classicizing, heroic rallying cries for a population intent on reclaiming the vestiges of dignity it had glimpsed through the writings of French thinkers like Rousseau, Descartes, Voltaire, and the other beacons of the Enlightenment Era. Overview Section 1: The Ancien Regime Lecture 1 Icons of Power Lecture 2 The Academy and the Grande Maniere Section 2: Across the Threshold of Revolution Lecture 3 Shifting Landscapes Lecture 4 Regency and the Rococo Lecture 5 The Road to Revolution in Painting High school, university, and graduate students will find both a review of key pieces and developments as well as original research and connections which are exclusive to this course. Students will be able to recognize major French artists and artworks. Students will gain an appreciation of the themes that defined French painting in the Napoleonic era. A comprehensive vocabulary list is found at the end of the course. Requirements An interest in history and a love of art are the only prerequisites for this course. Description This course takes a look at the long arc of the nineteenth century in France and the rise of new distinctive styles of painting and other artworks. We will see how Neoclassicism, Romanticism, and Orientalism reflected the ambitions, achievements, and imagination of Napoleon's Empire and how these styles adapted in service to the changing political landscape to follow: the Bourbon Restoration, Revolution, and the foundation of the French Republic. From David and Ingres to Gericault and Courbet, we will chart the changing concepts of what accepted paintings could depict and how they could function for different governments and social classes; in this course, we will see how iconography in painting empowered an emperor and the common peasant in the emerging French identity of this decisive century. From the late seventeenth through the turn of the nineteenth century in France, we see a varied arc of styles reflect the turbulent political and social history of the era. France in the nineteenth century underwent great transformations in its political, social, and cultural histories; the rise of the empire of Napoléon Bonaparte, an archetypically ambitious Sicilian general who- for a time- realized his dream of a revived Roman Empire for a France in which he was Caesar. Hand-in-hand with his ambitions of conquest came a new injection of Neoclassicism in a marked Imperial Style which differed in motive and form from its predecessors from the Neoclassical style, derived from French academic Classicism, heralded by the tastemakers of Europe as the one best suited for channeling a sentiment of the noble and eternal. However, Napoleon's empire on the nineteenth-century European stage unfolded in art as the marriage of this very canonical, we might say ritualistic impulse to visually evoke the Roman Empire while at the same time to distinguish Napoleon's range as very different from the pomp of the deposed French Monarchy, with their own long-engrained traditions of Classical pomp. The result is its own chapter of the Neoclassical style of both French painting and sculpture. Students will be able to identify key Roman art works and developments. Students will be able to distinguish Roman works from its different eras as kingdom, republic, and empire. A comprehensive vocabulary slide is included at the end of the course. Requirements A love of history and an interest in art are the only prerequisites for this course. Description The Roman Empire achieved the conquest of virtually all of the Western European continent by the first centuries of the first millennium C.E. Hand-in-hand with their extraordinary military and political history goes the use of images conscripted to serve their larger ambitions. This course takes a look at Roman portrait sculpture, as well as the Four Orders of Roman Wall painting, with the broad arch of Rome's fortunes from birth, to rise, and eventual decline. Roman history is defined by its stages of conquests carried out upon its ever-expanding set of neighbors. However, the Roman culture is marked by a willingness to assimilate the markers- often the architecture, artforms, and even religious cults- of the peoples it conquered into its own conglomeration. The closest, and therefore the earliest, influence which became assimilated to the Roman identity was that of the Etruscans, the neighboring Italic culture concentrated in the northern half of the peninsula in regions comprising primarily Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio today. The earliest government of the Romans was a monarchy, and periodically, those kings were Etruscans themselves. The Etruscan culture provided a basic framework for the hallmarks of later Roman society and artwork: the Romans cremated their dead, as the Etruscans did, and housed their ashes in cinerary urns along Etruscan lines. We also see the Latin language, distinct from the Etruscan script, incorporated into cut-rock formations characteristic of the Etruscan tradition. The art of ancient Rome spans a spectrum of ability, of naturalism, of iconographical fashions, and of media as vast as Rome itself at the height of empire. The Romans were enthusiastic assimilators of all that their conquered people had to offer them in terms of craftsmanship and artistic expertise; the Etruscan influence is formative, and the Greek influence in the early days of Roman expansion informed a style for far longer than Roman artists remained actually capable of realizing that high standard, particularly in the decay and dissolution of late empire. However, one constant remained at the heart of all art created in the service of empire and its often revolving-door of custodians: art was propaganda, and images were designed to communicate a message of power which could be adapted to the requirements and crises of the age. We see that adaptability of Roman artwork nowhere clearer than in the imperial portrait tradition, as it vacillates between Republican realism and its unflinching, no-nonsense attitude of the elder statesmen to the imperial flights of divine fancy we see in the portraits of the Julio-Claudian line dressed up as every god and goddess in the vast pantheon. Students will be able to recognize major early Christian monuments and relate them to Roman architectural contexts.. Students will gain an appreciation of the earliest spaces dedicated to the Christian religion. A comprehensive vocabulary list is found at the end of the course. Requirements An interest in history and a love of art are the only prerequisites for this course. Description This course takes a look at the architecture of Christianity's earliest and most significant built environments, whether they were houses of worship intended for the use of many or simple markers of the sacred. Rome, Constantinople, Jerusalem, and the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt are the settings for the buildings which this course examines up-close. We see how some of the earliest Christian communities conducted their worship services in the converted private homes or underground catacombs, as at Dura-Europos and Rome respectively. After the fourth century, the Christian community's imperial endorsement prompted a re-evaluation of their religious edifices and its architecture. Whereas the pictorial (and to a more limited extent, the sculptural) artworks of early Christianity had no qualms appropriating Roman and Egyptian forms and symbols, the Greco-Roman temple which had primarily functioned as the residence of the image of the god- usually but not always in the form of a monumental cult statue- was inadequate for the number of people expected to participate in the Christian service. In the ancient world, temples were never designed to accommodate large numbers of people; the cult statues, priests, and a small number of worshippers were the maximum intended capacity, and large ceremonies unfolded along the processional avenues and platforms surrounding the temple itself. Nevertheless, we find Greco-Roman elements adapted and reinterpreted in the context and requirements of the new religion which emerged as its own distinctive architectural tradition which would define a new era in what was once Rome: Western Europe and the Byzantine Empire in the East. Requirements Students who have completed the preceding courses "The Art of the Late Roman Empire" as well as "Ancient Christian Art will be able to appreciate some elements' continuity, but this course also can stand alone and provide a solid grounding in the earliest Byzantine artworks. Description The Byzantine Empire was the last vestige of the Roman Empire, now with the eastern city of Constantinople as its capital. However, what distinguished the Byzantine from the former Roman Empire was its embrace of Christianity and the blurred line between religious and political authority to which its artworks amply testify. This course takes a look at how Christian symbolism mingles with the political and economic realities of the day and how the language of power coalesced into what would become standard iconographies for both Eastern and Western Christian art for centuries to come. Overview Section 1: Introduction Lecture 1 A Christian Roman Empire Lecture 2 The Demise of Classical Naturalism Section 2: Blurring the Lines between Spiritual and Worldly Authority Lecture 3 Christ and Emperor as One Lecture 4 The Fountain of Life Lecture 5 Byzantine Ivories with Course Vocabulary Review High school, university, and graduate students will find both a review of key pieces and developments as well as original research and connections which are exclusive to this course.
