Joining Crow onstage for this performance at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, and providing the backbone for her set, is a group of unbelievably tight musicians that call themselves The Thieves. While Crow is definitely the star of the show these guys, even though quite unassuming, really play their tails off. Crow looks and sounds incredible as she works through some of her lesser known tunes from her last disc, 100 Miles From Memphis. She also digs deep into her catalog to pull out some crowd pleasing favorites such as, "My Favorite Mistake," "If It Makes You Happy," and "Soak Up The Sun," all of which are performed to perfection and even take on a bit of a life of their own with some improvisations by Crow and the band. Crow, looking very relaxed, banters and jokes with the crowd on numerous occasions throughout the performance creating a vibe that is extremely intimate and personal. Really I think the casual vibe makes all the difference in the world; it feel as though this is just a bunch of friends and musicians who have gotten together for a large jam session. The picture quality and sound are phenomenal and I enjoyed the bonus rehearsal footage as well. At the end of the day, this is really an enjoyable disc that should not only please fans of Sheryl Crow but fans of good solid musicianship as well. ” Tracklist: 01. Our Love Is Fading 02. 3. Aerosmith is an American hard rock band, sometimes referred to as "The Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band". Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has come to also incorporate elements of pop, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues, and has inspired many subsequent rock artists. The band was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton, originally in a band together called the Jam Band, met up with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano, and formed Aerosmith. In 1971, Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford, and the band began developing a following in Boston. They were signed to Columbia Records in 1972, and released a string of multi-platinum albums, beginning with their 1973 eponymous debut album, followed by their 1974 album Get Your Wings. In 1975, the band broke into the mainstream with the album Toys in the Attic, and their 1976 follow-up Rocks cemented their status as hard rock superstars. By the end of the 1970s, they were among the most popular hard rock bands in the world and developed a loyal following of fans, often referred to as the "Blue Army". However, drug addiction and internal conflict took their toll on the band, which resulted in the departures of Perry and Whitford, in 1979 and 1981 respectively. They were replaced by Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay. The band did not fare well between 1980 and 1984, releasing a lone album, Rock in a Hard Place, which went gold but failed to match their previous successes. Although Perry and Whitford returned in 1984 and the band signed a new deal with Geffen Records, it was not until the band sobered up and released 1987's Permanent Vacation that they regained the level of popularity they had experienced in the 1970s. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, the band scored several hits and won numerous awards for music from the multi-platinum albums Pump (1989), Get a Grip (1993), and Nine Lives (1997). Their comeback has been described as one of the most remarkable and spectacular in rock 'n' roll history. After 40 years of performing, the band continues to tour and record music. Aerosmith is the best-selling American rock band of all time, having sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, including 66.5 million albums in the United States alone. They also hold the record for the most gold and multi-platinum albums by an American group. The band has scored 21 Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, nine #1 Mainstream Rock hits, four Grammy Awards, and ten MTV Video Music Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and in 2005 they were ranked #57 in Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. menu.......[ Original subs.......[ included extras.....[ All genre......[ Rock format.....[ iso video......[ Untouched audio......[ DD 2.0 size.......[ 4.2 Gb playtime...[ 85 mins source.....[ DVD (NTSC) Tracklist: 01. Using family photos, interviews and concert clips, a fairly thorough portrait is painted of the dynamic, self-destructive R&B singer. With Joplin, what you saw was what you got: she is as volcanic and unpredictable off-stage as on. Janis Joplin's family had a lot of input in this production; thus, Joplin's music is given precedence over her private demons and her fabled substance abuse. Tracklist: 01. Mercedes Benz 02. For the vast majority of their history, the band consisted of Sting (lead vocals, bass), Andy Summers (guitars) and Stewart Copeland (drums). The Police became globally popular in the late 1970s and are generally regarded as one of the first New Wave groups to achieve mainstream success, playing a style of rock that was influenced by punk, reggae, and jazz. Their 1983 album, Synchronicity, was number one on both the UK Album Chart and the US Billboard 200, and sold over 8,000,000 copies in the US. The group disbanded in 1984, but reunited in early 2007 for a one-off world tour lasting until August 2008. The Police have sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and were the world's highest-earning musicians in 2008, thanks to their reunion tour. Videos: 01. Roxanne 02. Can't Stand Losing You 03. Although I've always been a fan of the singers, this concert presentation shows that Morissette is a remarkably energetic live performer, especially in versions of "All I Really Want" and "Precious Illusions" that are more fierce than the album versions. The concert presentation is a mixture of camcorder footage and what appears to be more professionally shot material. While a few shots here and there offer odd viewpoints, the majority of the concert captures the singer and backing band effectively, with not too much in the way of editing. The home video footage is mixed - some segments are insightful discussions of the singer's music and the accomplishments of the backing band. On the other hand, while some of the goofy segments are amusing, there are a few other goofy moments in the 150-minute program that could have been left on the editing room floor, as they don't really add much. ” Track listing: 01 Baba 02 Right Through You 03 21 Things I Want In A Lover 04 Hand In my Pocket 05 Purgatorying 1 06 Unprodigal Daughter 07 Flinch 08 All I Really Want 09 Precious Illusions 10 Sypathetic Character 11 Purgatorying 2 12 So Unsexy 13 Head Over Feet 14 Purgatorying 3 15 You Oughtta Know 16 Hands Clean 17 Uninvited 18 Ironic 19 You Learn 20 That Particular Time 21 Thank You http://freakshare.com/files/qr1w953g/Alani...part01.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/cv0kht8l/Alani...part02.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/1lxc7lkf/Alani...part03.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/5bvi3ae2/Alani...part04.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/zqsc7pnv/Alani...part05.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/ktmyqkzz/Alani...part06.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/e7y9hqlh/Alani...part07.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/3ev6ytb4/Alani...part08.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/rmeyrgt8/Alani...part09.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/mfl747zf/Alani...part10.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/6n23h1gk/Alani...part11.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/27cuxen7/Alani...part12.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/2o2tv6mf/Alani...part13.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/9heqnf15/Alani...part14.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/zor1prxc/Alani...part15.rar.html

Petty's laid back and somewhat self-effacing manner is quite appealing, as he talks about the good moments and some of the bad moments he and his musical cohorts have experienced. Petty's saga begins with his childhood and guitar-plucking adolescence in Gainesville, Florida--long before the Heartbreakers released their debut album in 1976. Since their first album, the band has sold more than 50-million records. They remain one of the biggest touring acts in the music business. To mark the 30th anniversary of his reign as king Heartbreaker, Petty chose Peter Bogdanovich to direct this celebratory, Warner Bros.-financed film. It's Oscar-nominated (The Last Picvture Show)Bogdanovich's first documentary, and in it he brilliants interweaves Petty's on camera commentary with archival footage of Petty's past: childhood and adolescence, music making with pre-Heartbreakers bands, live concert clips, music videos and on camera praises from famous musicians including George Harrison, Stevie Nicks and Eddie Vedder, among others. There are also extraordinary clips from the Traveling Wilburys, the superband formed by George Harrison with Petty, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison. ~ Review by Jennifer Merin ” Amazon Wikipedia Track Listing Disc One: Main Feature (Part 1) 1. Robert Fripp, World HQ, April 22nd 2005. “ The Inside The Music series is a "pot of gold" for Bob Carruthers & classic rock productions. It addresses a valuable & useful area of popular music studies; but in a cheap, nasty & cynical fashion that exploits everyone & scams the artists, the music & the fans. Bob Carruthers is a likeable, personable & slippery, evasive character who has upset nearly everyone whose music he has, in some way, presented. If transparency & accountability are two features of the ethical company, then Classic Rock Productions must be considered ethically challenged in extremis. Given my 38 years of hard experience as a professional within the music industry, Bob Carruthers' company would be better named Classic Crock Productions. ” http://freakshare.com/files/0z9j5z8d/Insid...part01.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/4y557akv/Insid...part02.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/t1qqdbta/Insid...part03.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/xi4afqmi/Insid...part04.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/sxdujn9i/Insid...part05.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/bj4x2q5z/Insid...part06.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/z8dc7cn8/Insid...part07.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/aoz4zdva/Insid...part08.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/eo8tqsqa/Insid...part09.rar.html

Contains both the original and remastered sound with vastly better picture quality than on other releases. Overall, it's a nice document of the band's best touring era while signed to a major label. This does not include the audio CD as it wasn't available to me. ” “ This is a must have as it puts together all available Big Night Out and Blackpool Night Out audio and video elements into one nice, tight, complete package. For me it’s essential and I highly recommend acquiring this nice set. DVD #1 contains: Big Night Out 1963: The complete show with original audio and remastered audio: From Me To You (short version), She Loves You, I Saw Her Standing There (lip-synced performances) What’s notable here is it is the complete show that includes other guest performers -- which puts the show and the early 60’s in the UK into a better perspective. Though I tend to skip right through these other performers and head right to the Beatles! The audio is a bit shaky here and kind of quivers. The "remastered" audio option is just the stereo record version of these songs and sounds wonderful -- but it doesn’t work for me as they originally lip-synced with open mikes on the audience, so there are girls screaming making it more believable. The remastered audio lacks the audience screams and feels fake. At least you have the option of not using the "remastered audio" selection. Big Night Out 1964 includes two sources: Source A, film version (Kinescope) and Source B, video version: Comedy sketches, All My Loving, Till There Was You (short version), Please Mister Postman, I Want To Hold Your Hand. Also offered is an alternate audio “remastered source) being they also lip-synced this performance. Source A is a very nice and clean kinescope of this performance. I get a kick out of watching Paul screw up and forgetting the record version has his yelps and screams on "I Wanna Be Your Man" and cracks up and looks at George as they come out of the guitar solo. Hey, they’re only human! Source B is from a glitchy video. One in which I never knew existed. Boy, if only Misterclaudel could get a hold of a better source closer to the first generation tape! This is one source I’ve never known about, so it’s a nice addition to my collection. Last is a Big Night Out ITV news film rounding things out for this show. Yeah I did enjoy the sketches too, but it's the musical performances by the Beatles which I'm interested in most. DVD #2 contains: Blackpool Night Out 1965: TCR version, no TCR version and a composed version: Intro, I Feel Fine, I’m Down, Act Naturally, Ticket To Ride, Yesterday, Help, Closing Theme. This one’s a live performance and if I’m correct, their last live appearance on TV in England until the NME ’66 show. The Beatles premiered "Yesterday" sung live by Paul. "Opportunity knocks", says George when introducing Paul. Classic. It’s a top notch performance by the Fabs but I find it falls a bit flat as the audience seems not to be made up entirely of Beatles fans. For me, I prefer the identical set list done on the Sullivian show. There seems to be a bit more of spark with louder screaming girls. Then again, what’s available for this BNO show is from kinescope and could benefit (like the Sullivan show), if we had a video source. But, no matter, The TCR version is excellent. I enjoyed most, the composed version that wipes the TCR out…not perfectly, but done well enough to suffice and be the version of preference when viewing this disc. The disc also has a bonus feature previewing upcoming Misterclaudel releases. -Beatle Bob DVD1 http://freakshare.com/files/haqh19pw/Beatl...part01.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/sblc3qvb/Beatl...part02.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/5gyihlwo/Beatl...part03.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/op8roeti/Beatl...part04.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/g9xz35dv/Beatl...part05.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/izqm65dd/Beatl...part06.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/1xmr2dgo/Beatl...part07.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/6nqzprju/Beatl...part08.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/dah5p88f/Beatl...part09.rar.html DVD2 http://freakshare.com/files/jkzqicj9/Beatl....part1.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/uy6pz15a/Beatl....part2.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/xvnrj104/Beatl....part3.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/j48v3m6g/Beatl....part4.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/fjzwmqsn/Beatl....part5.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/rbvs0sg3/Beatl....part6.rar.html http://freakshare.com/files/w7ao9p6b/Beatl....part7.rar.html

Last's trademark is arranging pop hits in a big-band style; his series of "party albums" is equally well-known. Over the course of his career, he has sold well over 50 million albums. Last learned how to play piano as child, switching to bass as a teenager. He joined Hans-Gunther Oesterreich's Radio Bremen Dance Orchestra in 1946, when he was 17 years old. In 1948, he became the leader of the Becker-Last Ensemble, which performed for seven years. During that time, he was voted as the best bassist in the country by a German jazz poll for three consecutive years, from 1950-1952. After the disbandment of the Becker-Last Ensemble, he became the in-house arranger for Polydor Records, as well as for a number of European radio stations. For the next decade, he helped arrange hits for artists like Helmut Zacharias and Caterina Valente. Last released his first album, Non-Stop Dancing, in 1965. The record of brief renditions of popular songs, all tied together by an insistent dance beat and joyous crowd noises. It was a hit and helped make him a major European star. Over the next two decades, Last released over 50 records, including several more volumes of Non-Stop Dancing. On these records, he varied his formula by adding different songs from different countries and genres, as well as guest performers like Richard Clayderman and Astrud Gilberto. Though his concerts and albums were consistently successful -- especially in England, where he had 52 hit albums between 1967-1986, which made him second to Elvis Presley in terms of number of charting records -- he only had one hit single with "The Seduction," the theme from American Gigolo (1980). 21. Mozart: Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail (Gustav Kuhn) [2005] NTSC 4:3 (720x480) VBR | Deutsch (LinearPCM, 2 ch) | 7,49 Gb (DVD9) Classical | Label: Art Haus | Sub: Deutsch, English, Espanol | 140 min | Filesonic, Filepost “ Glyndebourne's production of Mozart's opera looks and sounds ravishing. The airy sets and gorgeous costumes set a frame for a superb ensemble cast to give of their very best. Top of the list has to be Valerie Masterson's Constanze. She sang the part for her Sadlers Wells Opera debut back in the early 1970s and then developed her interpretation over the next ten years. Here she gives an object lesson in singing, characterisation and stagecraft. She looks as good as she sounds and that is saying a great deal. A figure of simple dignity, she fills out the character of Constanze with great skill and she sings like an angel, plumbing the depths of "Traurigkeit" with wonderful expression and feeling, and then capping that with a fiery, confident and thrilling "Martern alle Arten". She sings gloriously in ensemble and duet. This is a great performance from a great British soprano and should not be missed. Why she was not more recorded or filmed is one of the mysteries of the record industry, so make the most of her performance here - it is wonderful. You can also catch her artistry on DVDs of the ENO's Xerxes and Julius Caesar, and very early in her career in the D'Oyly Carte Mikado. The rest of the cast is excellent: Ryland Davies as a fluent Belmonte (who looks good with Masterson as a convincing young couple); Lillian Watson, a dream as Blondchen; Willard White, a wonderful Osmin and James Hoback as a college-boy Pedrillo. Conducting is loving and expressive but above all don't miss this record of one of the very best sopranos to have graced our stages giving of her very best in this most testing of parts. 24. Disco / Pop | DVD-9 | Sony/BMG 88697 30106 9 | DVD-9: PAL 720x576 (4:3), 7500 Kbps | PCM, 2ch, 1536 Kbps -> 5.60 Gb “The DVD has two parts. The first is a concert given in 1977, which is a rare opportunity to see how Boney M recreated their hits live on stage, assisted by backing singers and a live band. Compared to the carefully crafted studio records we're used to, the live sound is a bit rough in places, but that's true of most artists. Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett shine, while it is particularly interesting to see how Bobby sang live, since of course he did not sing on the original records and usually mimed on TV. I should mention that the concert part of the DVD is not perfect in terms of sound and video quality. In at least one song the backing vocals are louder than the lead, while the picture has some colour distortion and an obvious 'video jump' during Ma Baker. I'm told these faults occurred on the original videotape and could not be corrected. I assume these faults remain uncorrected for the UK release. Although the concert is one continuous recording, the first part of No Woman No Cry has been edited out, presumably because of some technical problem that was deemed unacceptable to show. The second part of the DVD is a TV special where Boney M visit Jamaica. It combines musical performances with travelogue and comedy. The show is an interesting curiosity, if not as fascinating as the concert part. The TV special is in German but with English subtitles (the concert also has some brief German speech where Liz and Bobby talk to the audience, but of course the songs themselves are in English).
