Es la historia de Camilo Sesto, marcada por la pasión por la música. Camilo Blanes Cortés nació en Alcoi (Alicante) el 16 de septiembre de 1946. La historia cuenta que su padre era electricista, que era el menor de seis hermanos, que fue expulsadode dos colegios... y que ya desde niño cantaba my bien. De adolescente formó un Alcoi su primer grupo musical: Los Dayson. Su primera aparición en televisión fue con este grupo en el programa Salto a la fama. Cantaron Flamenco, el gran éxito de los Brincos. En 1965, con 19 años, Camilo cogió las maletas, dejó su ciudad y llegó a Madrid a buscarse la vida.
