Danza (1:09)Tryo comenzó a formarse a inicios de los años 80 cuando Felix Carbone e Ismael Cortex estudiaban en el Conservatorio de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. En el transcurso de sus clases van aprendiendo nuevas cosas y deciden formar un grupo para poder hacer algo con sus ideas. Invitan al hermano de Ismael, Francisco Cortez al grupo, en ese tiempo él era estudiante de cello. Su primera presentación fue en 1987, al dar un concierto en la Escuela de Música de la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, donde tuvieron mucho éxito. Su primer disco fue lanzado en 1996 con un título homónimo, Tryo. Para 1998 entregan su segundo álbum, Crudo y en 1999 Patrimonio. El año 2002 aparece su nuevo trabajo llamado Dos Mundos. Su obra más reciente es Viajes del año 2005.
