Por un lado la facción Squire, con propiedad del nombre y la facción histórica, formada por los mencionados más el apoyo de Tony Levin en bajo y una plétora de destacables del entorno Yes. La publicación del disco de la gira Evening of Yes Music Plus les valió pleito con la otra facción, lo que terminó con el avenimiento entre las partes y abrió la puerta al monumental disco Union de Yes, con una formación de 8 músicos.
