Death of the mind (2:52) Total Time: 42:49NEKTAR es un grupo de cuatro ingleses que se nacionalizaron alemanes, y que colocó al menos un par de discos como clásicos pero que después de la grandeza se inclinaron hacia el pop. Las primeras críticas para este grupo fueron encausadas un poco al desprestigio, comparando su música como la respuesta alemana hacia los sonidos místicos de FLOYD y los espaciales de HAWKWIND. Sin embargo, si bien a ratos hay sonidos similares, NEKTAR es un grupo original y que buscó un sonido propio. Al principio su tendencia fue pesada pero sus dos siguientes discos fueron dos obras maestras del rock progresivo. Después de "Remember the Future" se volvieron comerciales, pero de nuevo pero, tienen al menos dos discos que son una joya musical.
