Adaptación moderna del cuento de “La bella y la bestia”. En Nueva York, un adolescente es transformado en una bestia para que así pueda encontrar el amor verdadero.

Sinopsis: Kyle Kingston (Alex Pettyfer) lo tiene todo es guapo, inteligente, rico y tiene muchas oportunidades—así como es cruel, déspota y esta inclinado a humillar a la gente agresivamente fea. Entre sus compañeros de clase él tiene en la mira a su compañera de clase, la gótica Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen), a quien invita a una fiesta de la escuela. Kendra acepta y como su naturaleza lo indica, él la abandona de una manera inhumana. Ella cobra venganza maldiciéndolo con un hechizo que lo transforma en todo lo que él odia. Convertido de esta manera en algo irreconocible y horrible él confronta a Kendra y aprende que la única solución para el maleficio es encontrar a alguien que lo ame por quien es—una tarea que él considera imposible.
