Sinopsis:
Joel (Jim Carrey) recibe un terrible golpe cuan-do descubre que su novia Clementine (Kate Winslet) ha hecho que borren de su memoria todos los recuerdos de su tormentosa rela-cion. Desesperado, se pone en contacto con el creador del proceso, el Dr. Howard Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson), para que borre a Clementine de su memoria. Pero cuando los re-cuerdos de Joel empiezan a desaparecer de pronto redescubre su amor por Clementine. Desde lo más profundo de su cerebro intenta-rá parar el proceso. Mientras el Dr. Mierzwiak y su equipo (Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood) le persiguen a traves del laberin-to de sus recuerdos, está claro que Joel simplemente no puede quitarse a Clementine de la cabeza.
