Crece en un universo pobre donde para distraerse escribe algunos textos. De traslado en traslado, Xzibit cruza con su familia los Estados Unidos, eso perturba al adolescente que según sus declaraciones "se convierte en desencadenado". Se coloca en un centro para jóvenes del cual se libera a la edad de 17 años. Consciente que su futuro está en la música, va para la California donde se entrevista con en 1992 un productor interesado por sus textos. El proyecto conseguirá en 1996 con el salidos de su primer álbum "At The Speed Of Life". La intensidad con su grave voz y sus textos pesados en fondo uno del mejor álbum del año. Es muy naturalmente que DrDre, más respetado de los productores hip hop, produce el tercero (1998), el cuarto (2000) y el quinto (2002) álbum de Xzibit. En 2004 de Xzibit vuelve de nuevo con un álbum solo "Weapon Of Mass Destruction" y anuncia la creación del grupo Strong Brazo Steady a los lados de Mitchy Slick, Phil the Agony y Krondon, asunto que debe seguirse pues.
