RELAYER Posted December 17, 2008 Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) Siempre he tenido sentimientos encontrados con este album, y la verdaddebo decir que a pesar que es el 1er disco de la era ochentera, popera y comercial de YES, asi los conoci por 1era vez, en el ya lejano 1983, en donde en especial el video promocional del Owner of a lonely heart, al menos para esa epoca era muy bueno. Pero como todo tambien tiene su lado bueno, veamos que tal:Parte 1 Parte 2 @ 3201. Lo que mas molesta de aca en adelante en especial a los fanaticos ortodoxos del YES clasico es que el peso de la banda fue llevado por Rabin y muchas veces sin mucho contrapeso, en lo creativo, en lo musical y estetico. Uno no puede dejar de desconocer lo que cada uno de los demas integrantes entrga en especial en el escenario en donde se notaba la fortaleza del grupo, pero quedo muy claro que el que llevaria las manijas creativas del grupo , mas aun despues del exito comercial seria Rabin (que ni si quiera era fanatico del grupo antes de su incorporacion). Es asi como "Owner of a Lonely Heart" el cual llegó al número uno de las listas de popularidad y se mantuvo al tope del Hot 100 del Billboard por cuatro semanas y otros temas como "Changes", "Leave it", "It Can Happens" y "Hearts", con un sonido más cercano al Hard Rock ochentero. El éxito de 90125 dio a Yes en 1984 su único premio Grammy en su historia gracias al tema "Cinema", como tema instrumental del año.
