Un joven enfadado de los barrios bajos de Puerto Rico, que está enredado entre la brutalidad de su vecindad y el golpeado de su barrio. Sobre aquel camino Édgar encuentra la interrupción entre su pandilla, enamorándose de una muchacha a quien Édgar debe ocultarle su unión con su grupo de barrio. Pronto Édgar debe afrontar la pregunta: ¿Moriría él como el “Cangri” de la pandilla o resucitaría él como “El Gran Jefe” del Reggaeton?
