Acorde con la segunda entrega de la película (Las Dos Torres), en el juego se enfrentarán dos bandos definicos, las fuerzas de la Gente Libre de Tierra Media y los Esbirros de Sauron. Tú decides. Toma parte como integrante de las fuerzas y ejércitos del bien y pelea con valentía por la destrucción del "anillo único" o únete a las fuerzas del mal para lograr alcanzar el control eterno sobre la tierra media.
