Para quienes creen que el álbum iría a la larga lista de lanzamientos pencas de leyendas del Metal, se equivocan. Con temazos como "More Than Meets the Eye", "The Formation of Damnation", "The Persecuted Won't Forget" o "F.E.A.R." la banda muestra al mundo que siguen brutales y realmente, el retorno de Alex Skolnick y Paul Bostaph ha influenciado enormemente en el resultado final del disco. A mi juicio, su sonido es una mezcla de los discos "Practice What You Preach" y "Souls of Black" con una pizca del "The New Order". Sencillamente, un excelente álbum.
