The golden hat is the most prestigious part (sorry) to RuneScape's year-long celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary . Launching alongside the returning partyhat event, it's the fourth and final stage of the anniversary adventure, Once Upon a Time, running all throughout the year.

Fittingly titled Finale, the chapter is described as "the closing of the adventure that explores the RuneScape's past future, and present. The chapter completes the storyline to its conclusion for Relomia as the antagonist of the quest."

Finale will involve players visiting three locations namely the Black Knight's Fortress as well as the World Gate, and the island of Kami-Shima , which could provide glimpses of possible Futures. Completing the chapter will reward those who complete it with "four Quest points, a new magical T5 dice.

The penultimate reward track unlock from The May Quest Point Caravan, a medium-sized XP light, the Shadow Rip home of Relomia, Teleport's cosmetic override Two Treasure Hunter keys" and "one more surprise to be found".
