Description: DFMPro (Design For Manufactory Professional) is an easy-to-use tool for checking the manufacturability of manufacturing parts and assemblies for designers and process engineers, integrated into Siemens NX. Its use makes it easier to check the manufacturability and identify parts of the project that may be laborious or expensive to manufacture in relation to turning, milling, turn-milling, sheet metal processing, etc.
Express analysis of the manufacturability of the part in terms of the capabilities and principles of milling or turning is performed using the DFMPro module. You simply select the type of part - milling or turning - and in a matter of seconds you get a detailed report on possible machining problems. Numerical values of manufacturability criteria can be changed within a wide range in accordance with the requirements of the enterprise.
DFMPro is used in case of increased requirements for the capabilities of the system for checking the manufacturability of parts, as well as for using such a tool in relation to turning-milling and sheet parts. This module performs a larger number of checks - and checks not only the geometry of the part, but also user-configured attributes, for example, the grade of the material - but also allows you to customize the analysis rules in a much wider range.pic
