National Instruments is pleased to announce the availability of NI LabVIEW NXG 5.1 FPGA Module. This module enables engineers and scientists to develop, debug, and deploy custom FPGA code for NI hardware with user-programmable FPGAs.

The LabVIEW NXG 5.1 FPGA Module supports the following operating systems:
- Windows 10 (version 2004) / 8.1 Update 1* / 7 SP1* (64-bit)
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Update*
- Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1**

Note: The Xilinx Compilation Tools are not supported on Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2/Server 2008 R2 SP1. The following features that depend on a local installation of the Xilinx Compilation Tools are not supported on these operating systems: local bitfile compilation, Optimized FPGA VIs, simulation of IP Integration Nodes, and simulation of Xilinx IP Nodes.

* NI software installs VC2015 Runtime and .NET 4.6.2. Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 require Microsoft updates to support these items.
** NI software is signed with a SHA-256 certificate. Windows 7 SP1, Windows Embedded Standard 7 SP1, and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 require Microsoft updates to support SHA-256.
