The Altair development team is pleased to announce the availability of FluxMotor 2020.1.0 is a flexible software solution dedicated to the pre-design of electric motor.

Here are the main highlights of this new version:

- New thermal computations in Motor Factory
- The skewing of stator slots or rotor magnets is possible for Synchronous Machines with Permanent Magnets
- Export data from FluxMotor in FMU format files
- A new test for characterizing the Induction Machines with Squirrel cage (Inner and Outer Rotor) equivalent scheme - Characterization / Model / SSFR
- New connectors are available for coupling FluxMotor with HyperStudy
- Export data is possible either by using a *.txt format or a *.xls format for test results or for design data.

All the added new features and fixes bugs are described in
