This singer, guitarist and keyboardist is very clear. He knows what he's up to. Very well known and has assimilated the stylistic, local and historical traditions of the genre, as well as some of its branches and mergers. A theoretical domain that would be worthless without good implementation. And there are great songs that appear in this most remarkable work. The country blues looking at today in the familiar "Joy"; the soul of "I Can See Clearly Now"; Stax sound in "You Lucky Dog"; the gospel of "I'm Still Here"; boogie in "Blues Joint Party"; "Funky Broadway" Wilson Pickett on which do not need much explanation ... and good blues. The production highlights the benefits of the compositions, almost all work of Peterson and company. This varies from the minimalism of a theme with guitar and vocals, to the use of a horn section, choir, Hammond or guitar solos available to very few. The result is a glittering tribute to the blues.Download
