Last November, Kingfish performs a concert for Obama at the White House as part of the Delta Blues Museum band. Christone began playing concerts in his hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, when she was in seventh grade. Shortly thereafter, it had developed a base of local fans, not to mention a good dose of credibility. His major influences are the Delta Blues of Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, and Lightnin 'Hopkins to the electric blues of B.B.
