Austin's Omar Kent Dykes & Jimmie Vaughan came together to pay tribute to the legend with their latest release in the Jimmy Reed Highway. The project began as a solo version of Jimmie Vaughan but when he entered the studio to record a guitar part ", the songs came to life itself," Dykes said. "I realized Jimmie come and play a couple of solos, but it was so moved he stayed for the rest of the recording."
