Snooky Pryor (September 15, 1921 to 1910 18, 2006) was an American blues harmonica. He pioneered the now common method of playing the harmonica amplified by a small microphone in hand with the harmonica, although in his first records in the 1940s and early 50s did not use this method.
Edward James Pryor was born in Lambert, Mississippi delta blues and developed a style influenced by Sonny Boy Williamson I Sonny Boy Williamson II and then He moved to Chicago in 1940.Murio near Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 85.
