DayZ is a multiplayer open world survival horror video game in development by Bohemia Interactive and the stand-alone version of the award-winning mod of the same name. The game was test-released on December 16, 2013, for Microsoft Windows via digital distribution platform Steam, and is currently in early alpha testing.
The game places the player in the fictional post-Soviet state of Chernarus, where
an unknown virus has turned most of the population into violent zombies. As a
survivor, the player must scavenge the world for food, water, weapons, and
medicine, while killing or avoiding zombies, and killing, avoiding or co-opting
other players in an effort to survive the zombie apocalypse.

Befor launching game for the first time, please change your nickname.
Edit file Lumaemu.ini, and change the playername value
if the file is locked, right clic on it, clic on properties, uncheck "read only", then
you can edit the file

Run Steam2WrapperLauncher.exe to launch the game
If the game don't launch, it might be the anti cheat detecting something (it might be
a false positive). Close all your opened application one by one, and try relaunching
the game. If it still don't work, create a new windows account, and launch the game
from it.

At the gamme lobby, click on "change server" then "Remote".
enter the adress and port of the server you want to join :
dayz.kortal.org port: 2402
The server use anticheat system.

ps: If you get error with X3Daudio1_6.dll, reinstall DirectX
