Hace unos años, se inició un proyecto científico para recuperar la Laguna del Cañizar, un humedal ubicado entre Villarquemado y Cella (Teruel) que generó un entorno predilecto para determinadas aves. Sin embargo, parte de la población de la cuenca del Río de Cella está en contra: creen que es negativo para el sector agrícola, predominante en esta zona. Este documental da voz a científicos, regantes, políticos y vecinos sobre el conflicto de la Laguna del Cañizar.
