La leyenda de Ong Bak 3 comienza cuando Tien (Tony Jaa) pierde sus habilidades para luchar y a su apreciado padrastro en el acantilado Garuda’s Wing en un ataque liderado por Jom Rachan. Tien vuelve a la vida con la ayuda de Pim, de Mhen y de los habitantes de Kana Khone. Con las enseñanzas de Phra Bua sobre la meditación profunda, Tien por fin consigue alcanzar el ‘Nathayut’. Su talento vuelve a ser puesto a prueba cuando sus rivales, incluyendo al guardia de la armadura de oro del rey, los misteriosos asesinos de negro y Bhuti Sangkha, vuelven para el enfrentamiento final.
