Ralph el Demoledor anhela ser amado y respetado como suele pasar con, Felix el Reparador, el chico bueno del videojuego al que pertenece. El problema es que nadie quiere a los villanos y por eso Ralph sale de su juego y se aventura en un moderno reto que lo podría coronar como el héroe que quiere ser. Sin embargo, todo sale mal para Ralph y, aunque consigue ganar su valiosa medalla, provoca un accidente que podría terminar con todos los juegos de video. Con la ayuda de un curiosa pequeñita, Ralph tendrá que arreglar todos los problemas antes de que sea demasiado tarde.
