Sinopsis Heather Mason, una adolescente y su padre Harry Mason, han estado evadiendo la fuerza de una naturaleza que no reconocen completamente. En vísperas del cumpleaños número 18 de la chica, su padre desaparece misteriosamente y poco después, Heather se da cuenta de que su identidad es falsa y que los orígenes de su vida provienen de un lugar llamado Silent Hill. Como resultado de esta revelación, ella es atraída por esa ciudad gracias a un accidente dirigido por una misteriosa mujer y un demente. Sin embargo, Heather no sabe que está a punto de entrar a una trampa mortal.
