Se llaman barras de torsión, sirven para que principiantes empiecen a sacar algo de fuerza sin necesidad de una banca y los avanzados la usan para dar efectos de congestión o maximizar la fatiga al entrenar. Principalmente es para fortalecer el pectoral.
