SINOPSIS

T.J, un adolescente de 13 años y su padre, ambos destrozados por la trágica pérdida de madre/esposa, viven ahora con la abuela. Un día, de camino a la escuela, T.J se encuentra con Hesher, un veinteañero cerca de los treinta, que ha vivido muchos problemas. Hesher asume los papeles de mentor y torturador, haciendo que T.J se meta en problemas que nunca podría imaginar. Nicole, una joven dependienta de una tienda de ultramarinos que intenta llegar a fin de mes, aparece para proteger a T.J de un ataque, T.J se enamora de Nicole, pero Hesher acabará con sus fantasías. Hesher se muda a casa de la abuela, y aunque nadie lo invita, es aceptado. (FILMAFFINITY)
