SINOPSIS :

El antiguo cantante de rock y propieterio de un nightclub de San Francisco Johnny Boz aparece brutalmente asesinado en su cama. La última vez que se le vió estaba acompañado por su novia, Catherine Tramell, una atractiva escritora de novelas de intriga de gran éxito profesional. El agente Nick Curran, que atraviesa por un bajo momento personal y que acaba de rehabilitarse de su adicción al alcohol y a las drogas, recibe el encargo de vigilar a Catherine, principal sospechosa del crimen.
