JSecuela de la película ganadora del Oscar al mejor largometraje de animación en 2006 “Happy Feet”. Mumble (voz original de Elijah Wood), el maestro de Tap y su amada Gloria (voz de Alecia Moore: la cantate Pink), tienen un problema con su pequeño hijo Erik (EG Daily), que tiene fobia al baile. Un día Erik escapa de su hogar y se encuentra con el poderoso Sven, ¡un pingüino que puede volar!. Mumble no tiene ninguna esperanza de poder competir con un personaje tan carismático, pero las cosas se ponen peor cuando el mundo es sacudido por unas fuerzas poderosas. Erik tendrá entonces que intentar reunir a pingüinos de varias partes del mundo y a todo tipo de criaturas fabulosas como Krill, un gigante elefante marino, para intentar solucionar el problema
