Haggard es una banda de Metal Sinfónico procedente de Alemania.El grupo combina música clásica, antigua y doom metal. Haggard fue fundada en 1991 y originalmente tocaban death metal. Cambiaron su estilo musical después de su primer demo, Introduction (1992), convirtiéndose en una banda con melodías sinfónicas y instrumentos clásicos pero con temas folk. Antes del lanzamiento de su álbum Awaking The Centuries tuvo el número más alto de músicos en la historia de la banda, 21.
