maqueira769 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) Band of Brothers (Hermanos de sangre en España, Hermandad en la trinchera o Banda de hermanos en Hispanoamérica) es una serie de televisión de 10 capítulos, ambientada en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y coproducida por Steven Spielberg y Tom Hanks. Gran parte de la acción en la miniserie se centra en lo experimentado por la Easy Company (Compañía Easy) del 506º Regimiento de Infantería Paracaidista (506th Parachute Infantry Regiment), de la 101ª División Aerotransportada (U.S 101st Airborne Division) del Ejército de los Estados Unidos y en uno de sus primeros líderes de sección, el Teniente Richard Winters (más tarde Mayor Winters). La serie se basa en el libro del mismo título, escrito por el prestigioso historiador y biógrafo Stephen Ambrose. Los eventos retratados en la miniserie tratan de ser fieles a la historia y se basan en la investigación de Ambrose y en entrevistas hechas a veteranos de la Easy Company. Todos los personajes que aparecen en la miniserie están basados en personajes reales de dicha compañía; algunos de ellos aparecen en entrevistas pre-grabadas como prólogo a cada episodio.
