Cuando los científicos descubren una grieta espacio-tiempo, deciden enviar a una familia de cinco miembros hasta el período cretácico. Es decir, enviarles ochenta y cinco millones de años al pasado. Pero, esta familia pronto descubre que su misión de salvar a la humanidad va a ser muy complicada.
