Supertramp is one of the most successful pop - and rock band of all time. The band's name is the title of the book Autobiography of a tramp by WH Davies borrowed. The typical Supertramp sound is defined mainly by the syncopated playing on a Wurlitzer A-200 (electric piano). A personal touch was also used in the former rock and pop music until then unusual instruments such as clarinet or saxophone (The Logical Song). With its successful concept of cryptic lyrics and keyboard-oriented soft rock Supertramp could still sell over 60 million albums worldwide. Picture and sound quality are not due to the old recordings on the amount of time, but for every fan, this DVD is mandatory.

 

Als Dave sagte Margereson, ehemaliger Vertreter von Supertramp, in einem Interview hat er im letzten Jahr, nach Jahren des Wartens endlich auf DVD "Paris" des legendären Tournee in 1979 veröffentlicht in der Hauptstadt Französisch wurde als Doppel-Album im Jahr 1980 veröffentlicht.
