La serie presentó a varios miembros de los Green Lantern Corps, incluyendo a Alan Scott, Kyle Rayner, John Stewart y Guy Gardner. Revivió elementos de la historia de los Green Lanterns incluyendo a los Guardians of the Universe, Kilowog y el otrora Green Lantern, ahrora villano, Sinestro, a la vez que introduce nuevos conceptos como el espectro emocional.
