Cuando Sookie sale del baño gritando que se casará con Bill descubre que ha desaparecido y denuncia que ha sido secuestrado, como nadie parece molestarse en buscarle es ella misma la que decide tratar de encontrarlo. Mientras tanto Tara cae en una depresión por la muerte de Eggs e intenta suicidarse pero Lafayette lo impide. Andy decide echarse la culpa por la muerte de Eggs para así encubrir a Jason, lo que le lleva a convertirse en un héroe local. Después de haber matado a su primera víctima Jessica intenta ocultar el cadáver, pero las cosas no salen como lo planea ya que alguien roba el cadáver. Bill logra huir haciendo chocar el coche en que es transportado cuando descubre que sus captores son una manada de lobos adictos a la sangre de vampiro, pero en plena huida queda claro que no ha sido un secuestro fortuito ya que han sido enviados por el rey de Missisipi, Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare), quien pretende que Bill venda a su reina y le revele su misión en Bon Temps.
