El juego tiene un desarrollo y una historia totalmente original, con personajes conocidos y con la voluntad de complementar algunos hechos confusos y sin resolver directos de las películas. Para empezar, el personaje principal con el que se inicia la partida es el detective David Tapp. Con el bajo nuestro control, es el momento de “jugar”, como tanto le gusta decir a Jigsaw.
