De su primer disco Boulevard ha vendido más de 300.000 y de Tourist ha vendido más de 200.000. El estilo de Saint Germain es una mezcla nu jazz, acid jazz y house. Considerando los tres álbumes en conjunto, se aprecia un mayor protagonismo del jazz en perjuicio del house.
