Mientras Soren sueña algún día con unirse a sus héroes, su hermano mayor, Kludd, se mofa de la idea y ansía cazar, volar y robarle a su hermano menor el favor de su padre. Pero los celos de Kludd tienen consecuencias nefastas - ambos se caen de la copa del árbol que es su hogar y justo en las garras de los Raza Pura. Ahora depende de Soren escaparse con la ayuda de los otros corajudos jóvenes búhos.
