Santiago de Chile, Chile; 17 de abril de 1978) más conocido por su nombre artístico, Pedro Piedra es un músico y compositor chileno principalmente de género pop.Subercaseaux estuvo en varias bandas antes de formar Pedro Piedra. La primera de ellas, a los 13 años, de nombre Wanted, banda conformada junto con Federico Danneman y Jorge del Campo donde sólo hacían tributos a The Velvet Underground. Pedro cantaba y tocaba la guitarra. La segunda banda de nombre Tropiflaite fue conformada durante sus estudios en la Escuela Moderna junto a Jorge del Campo, Roberto Chicho Espinoza,Diego Las Heras, el mismo Pedro Subercaux y Andres Perez(de la banda Yo Soy Perez). Esta banda se dedicaba a tocar música para bodas, entre ellas cumbias y canciones del Puma Rodríguez y Rafaella Carrá. La banda duró sólo 2 años y grabaron un disco de Grandes Éxitos, producido por Juan Carlos Tato Gómez, ex integrante de Clan 91 y Embrujo. En el 2002, Pedro junto a Vicente Sanfuentes forma un dúo de electrónica y rimas llamado Hermanos Brothers. A pesar de que Pedro reclama que esta banda nunca existió como tal, ganaron el premio MTV a mejor Artista Independiente en el 2003 por el video del tema Santiago 2002 de su único álbum. El video fue dirigido por Pablo de León. Este mismo año Pedro trabaja en CHC (Congregación de Hermanos Contemplativa), de manera simultánea. La banda está conformada por Gabriel Díaz, Sebastián Silva, Nea Ducci, Roberto Chicho Espinoza y Jorge Del Campo. Con CHC, Pedro, realizó 3 discos. Saludos!!!!!
