Juego de Tronos (Game of Thrones), la serie basada en la novela que George R. R. Martin escribió en 1996 y que un año después ganó el Premio Locus, importante galardón entregado por la revista Locus Magazine.

 

Basada en la serie de novelas A Song of Ice and Fire de George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones cuenta la historia de las familias Stark y Lannister, rivales por el control del trono de Hierro y su poder sobre toda la tierra.

 

En especial la serie se enfoca en Eddard (Sean Bean), el patriarca de la familia Stark, quien queda atrapado en una serie de engaños, intriga y poder, cuando es elegido para ser la mano derecha del Rey.

 

Adaptada para la pequeña pantalla por HBO, Juego de Tronos es magia, es fantasía, es una simbiosis de El Señor de los Anillos con Excalibur. Sin ir más lejos, el gran Sean Bean, conocidos por todos los amantes del celuloide como el actor que encarnó a Boromir en la trilogía de Tolkien llevada al cine, es el protagonista principal.
