OTRA VEZ NUEVO REMAKE DE UN CLÁSICO DE CULTO DE FINALES DE LOS 70, EL CONTROVERTIDO FILM DE MEIR ZACHI "I SPIT IN YOUR GRAVE". Parece ser que la laxitud en cuanto a la plasmación de la violencia gráfica en la gran pantalla que domina el cine en la actualidad ha alentado la decisión de la productora CineTel de dar luz verde a este remake. Según palabras de Paul Heltzer, uno de sus futuros productores, llegaron a la siguiente conclusión: "Después de ver lo que se ha hecho con films como "Saw" y "Hostel" calificados como "R" [restringido a menores acompañados], creemos que podemos modernizar esta historia, ser competitivos con las expectativas económicas de este mercado y no tener que apuntar a una calificación NC-17 o X". Las precauciones tomadas con este material vienen al caso porque "I spit in your grave", film de culto firmado por Meir Zachi en 1978, cuenta la historia de una joven aspirante a escritora que, en su viaje en busca de inspiración, es violada por cuatro jóvenes, apaleada y, finalmente, abandonada a morir tras la paliza. La historia se retoma con la brutal venganza de la agraviada que irá al acecho de sus torturadores. Desde luego, no es una historia para emitir en el horario infantil.
