SINOPSIS
Basada en hechos reales, narra la aventura del ganador de la Triple Corona en 1973. Penny Chenery (Diane Lane) es una madre y ama de casa que se compromete a hacerse cargo de las caballerizas Meadow Stables en Virginia, propiedad de su padre, enfermo. Pero ella desconoce totalmente el mundo de las carreras de caballos. Contra todo pronóstico, Chenery, con la ayuda del veterano entrenador Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich), se abre paso en un negocio dominado por hombres y acaba consiguiendo la primera Triple Corona en 25 años que gana uno de los mejores caballos de carreras de todos los tiempos.
