AYUDA CON JAVASCRIPT

hola cumpas:

 

tengo el siguiente problema, recibo una variable en la función y necesito enviarla concatenada a la página de php y no lo puedo hacer.

 

aca esta mi code:

el alert lo puse pa verificar si envío datos solamente.

 

function muestraF($queCosa){
    alert($queCosa);
        window.open("FichaPersonal.php?r=$queCosa","recogedor","width=500,height=400, top=100,left=100, resizable=no");
    return false;
}

así lo hago pero esta mal si alguien me ayuda

se lo agradeceria.

GRACIAS, PERO LO PROBE Y NO FUNCIONA ENVIA SOLO EL NOMBRE DE LA VARIABLE, EN EL EJEMPLO QUE PUSISTE
