El juego se basa principalmente en la mitología griega, pero recupera aportes de otras culturas y leyendas. El objetivo es avanzar por cada una de las cuatro edades: arcaica, clásica, heroica y mítica. Dioses, cíclopes y minotauros serán tus compañeros de juego. Organiza a tus súbditos, combate con los ejércitos, crea fortalezas, obtén recursos y construye templos. Así cumplirás con las misiones que se te encomienda. En este trepidante juego tridimensional tienes la oportunidad de manejar 27 dioses menores y 9 dioses mayores, cada uno con sus propias unidades míticas y poderes divinos. Además, con Age of Mythology puedes participar en una partida multijugador a través de Internet, siendo partícipe de al menos 35 campañas. PARA LOS KE TUVIERON PROBLEMAS AL INSTALAR EL JUEGO.....
