"Ringleader Of The Tormentors" es el disco que devolvió a Morrissey el protagonismo que había perdido la década pasada. El disco estuvo considerado entre los 5 mejores del 2006 y, contó con las colaboraciones de Tony Visconti (producción) y el maestro Ennio Morricone. Sobre el estilo no se puede decir mucho. Lo que le dió la gran valoración fueron los singles que tuvo el álbum, como lo son "You Have Killed Me" o, "On the Streets I Ran". De lo mejor que ha hecho Steven.
