Como sucede casi cada 240 años, Hades vuelve al mundo para intentar sembrar el caos entra la humanidad y sumirlo todo en las tinieblas. En el pasado, el poderoso Dios fue herido por el caballero de Pegaso, quién prácticamente lo condena a verse obligado a poseer un cuerpo para poder renacer. Para ello, Pandora, su fiel seguidora, busca el cuerpo con el alma mas pura de la Tierra para que pueda ser el contenedor de su maligno Dios. Sin embargo, la Diosa Atena está para detener los planes de Hades, y ella, junto a sus caballeros sagrados lucharan aún a costa de su vida para salvar al mundo. Lo peor sucede cuando esta guerra sagrada llevada a cabo desde tiempos inmemoriables incluye a tres amigos de la infancia: Tenma (reencarnación del caballero Pegaso), Sasha (reencarnación de Athena) y Aaron( nueva reencarnación de Hades).
