Basada en el libro histórico La crónica de los Tres Reinos y otros archivos históricos, ACANTILADO ROJO ('Red Cliff') estaba en la mente del director JOHN WOO desde hace más de 20 años cuando no existían ni la tecnología ni el mercado necesario para una película de esta magnitud.

Rodada durante casi un año en 14 provincias de China con un presupuesto de más de 80 millones de dólares, JOHN WOO -también guionista y productor de la cinta- tenía muy claro lo que quería conseguir: "Mi objetivo para esta película es superar las barreras culturales e históricas, de manera a que el público occidental sienta que está viendo una versión asiática de Troya, mientras que el público oriental descubre nuevas perspectivas de una historia que le es conocida. Quería demostrar igualmente que somos capaces aquí en China de crear una película épica del mismo calibre que una producción de Hollywood".

buena pelicula, hicieron estas peliculas basadas en un juego q es bkn tb

 

No compadre, el juego y la pelicula estan basados en una novela china que a su vez esta basada en hecos reales de la unificacion de china.
