El Salón de la Fama del Rock es un museo situado en la ciudad de Cleveland (Ohio, Estados Unidos) dedicado al recuerdo y memoria de los artistas más famosos e influyentes de la industria de la música, especialmente el rock and roll; desde el año 1986 un jurado formado por académicos, productores y periodistas votan a músicos que consideran que han tenido influencia demostrable en la historia de la música rock. Los elegidos son "admitidos" en el Salón de la Fama, proceso que se formaliza mediante un discurso de inducción a cargo de algún colega reconocido, unas palabras de aceptación por parte del homenajeado, una representación en cera del artista junto con su primer disco y por supuesto lo que todos esperan: un mini-concierto en vivo
